The Ronix Type 8:12 Carbon Air Core Skimmer brings a new type of flavour to the high-end skimmer market, offering an amazingly versatile skim profile that will suit and support a wider range of surfers. The carbon lightweight construction remains the same, but where the Type 8:12 truly excels is in its fast and forgiving snub-nosed design. By adding width and squaring off the nose, the Type 8:12 can generate more speed and also add forgiveness on landings, meaning you can attempt 360s, shuv its, and plenty more and feel better than ever doing it! Built from near bomb-proof construction, the Skimmer features Ronix’s signature Aircore, made from high-quality Italian PVC. If they could invent pizza, you can be damn well sure they can make some high-quality materials. This super-light core is then wrapped in a full carbon jacket that gives the Skimmer its signature responsiveness.
